Very rare Chinese porcelain bottle vase with “garlic mouth” covered in sacrificial cobalt blue, decorated with an applied unglazed reptile from the Squamata (lizard) class coiled around the neck, c. 1550, Jiajing reign, Ming dynasty h. 19 cm, 7½ in. 1.14217 Bespoke box.
