◆ Just like the case of the teapots in this period, the milk jug has a very small size compared with those made in the end of the century.
The decoration is a fictional traditional home scene that is a recurrent decorative motif in this period. In the later part of the 18th century and also in the 19th century, there was a revival of this style but with poor quality and no sophistication at all.
