Chinese porcelain bowl decorated in underglaze cobalt blue (qinghua) with a floral pattern, c. 1880, base with the six-character Guangxu reign mark and of the period, Qing dynasty, d. 13 cm, 5 in; h. 7 cm, 2¾ in. 9.13094 Bespoke box.

Provenance: Purchased by Count Wilhelm Gerdhem (1868-1932), director, during his stay in Peking in 1915 where he was in charge of the expansion of L M Eriksson (should be Ericsson). Inherited by his son Gösta Gerdheim, then inherited by the current owner. Sold at Uppsala Auktions Kammare, Sweden, on 2/5 December 2013, lot 585.
